HOW TO PREPARE EWEDU SOUP



Ewedu soup is common among the yoruba speaking people of Nigeria as they usually use it with amala.

  Ewedu is prepared from ewedu leaf which can be cultivated in the farm or at home.It is a stretching leaf,so if not careful with it,you may easily get your clothes messed up.Ewedu is a very delicious soup,usually taken with stew and if you can prepare it,happy are you.


     INGREDIENTS

1.Ewedu leaf

2.Potash

3.Grinded crayfish

4.Salt

5.Water

6.Pepper

7.Onion

8.Maggi

9.Tomato

       
           PREPARATION

1.Chop the ewedu leaves smoothly using a compactible instrument

2.Put all the ingredients in a pot

3.Add water to boil

4.Add salt,pepper,onion,maggi,tomato tin

5.Allow to simmer,remove from fire
